    Due to the major growth in our business, we have an exciting opportunity for a talented, qualified and experienced Sales Consultant to join our team in Penrose, Auckland.

    Nova Motors is looking for experienced and motivated salespeople for an immediate start.
    Nova Motors offers a great variety of car makes and models for sale and competitive prices that attract buyers. We are a high-volume yard, so you can expect to be busy.

    The successful applicant must have:

    At least 1- year sales experience (preferably in vehicle sales)
    Have a current full clean New Zealand Drivers Licence. Have the ability to drive both manual and automatic vehicles.
    A strong ability to meet targets in a competitive environment
    Solid work references
    Be ready to learn and improve your skills
    Be ready for phone contacts and face-to-face sales and emails skills
    Following up on leads and converting them into buyers

    Nova Motors is looking for an experienced and motivated specialist. However, we will also consider junior applicants willing to learn the next step up from sales.

    The successful applicant must have:

    Ideally, have some knowledge in automotive finance and insurance sales.
    Be a strong team player as you will have to work with the sales team and our dedicated Business Manager.
    Strong negotiation and closing skills.

    Responsibilities will include:

    Working with applications and setting up finance contracts
    Exceeding volume and profitability targets
    Offering and explaining about insurance products
    Strong understanding of the importance of customer service (you have to make sure that each customer is satisfied and willing to return)
    Quickly and effectively address customer concerns

  • Automotive technician

    Due to the major growth of our business, we have an exciting opportunity for a talented, qualified and experienced automotive technician to join our team in Penrose, Auckland.

    You would possess a diverse range of skills and knowledge in servicing, repairs, maintenance and diagnostics on a wide range of vehicles, while enjoying being a part of a busy, productive and friendly team.

    The successful applicant must have:

    Trade qualification as a fully qualified automotive technician
    At least 5 years’ experience
    Ability to diagnose faults and failures on vehicles of all makes and models
    Experience with both Japanese and European cars
    Have or be willing to obtain WOF issuing certificate
    Experience in Entry compliance would be an advantage
    Ability to meet tight deadlines and work unsupervised
    A high standard of mechanical workmanship
    Strong understanding of HOH and safe working practices
    Have a current full clean New Zealand Drivers Licence. Have the ability to drive both manual and automatic vehicles.

    Candidates must be able to work weekends and on a roster basis. You should have a will-do attitude!

    You will be required to:

    As a vehicle stripper, you will be involved in a range of different tasks
    Vehicle stripping
    Wiring, installing harnesses and avionics equipment
    Doing some paperwork

    Nova Motors for a candidate who will be responsible for developing information systems including designing, developing, and installing software solutions.

    The successful applicant must have the following skills:

    Software Engineer’s overall responsibilities are, but are not necessarily limited to, the following:

    Determines operational feasibility by evaluating analysis, problem definition, requirements, solution development, and proposed solutions.

    Documents and demonstrates solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and clear code.

    Prepares and installs solutions by determining and designing system specifications, standards, and programming.

    Obtains and licenses software by obtaining required information from vendors; recommending purchases; testing and approving products.

    Protects operations by keeping information confidential.

    Provides information by collecting, analysing, and summarizing development and service issues.
